On Tuesday, 3 February 2026, Mr. Andrae Hugh Sutherland, professionally known as Popcaan, paid a courtesy visit to the Honorary Consul of Jamaica to Ghana, Okatakyie Boakye Danquah Ababio, at the Consulate.

The two engaged in constructive discussions aimed at promoting greater awareness of African culture and history and at strengthening links between Caribbean and African communities.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing a shared commitment to pursue collaborative initiatives to strengthen bilateral ties between Ghana and Jamaica. Mr. Sutherland welcomed the opportunity to contribute and to reflect on his own heritage.
