The Consulate of Jamaica in Accra, Ghana has taken note of a Jamaica Gleaner publication dated November 10, 2025, titled “Actor Kevoy Burton rallies relief support to send to Jamaica.”

A photograph used in the article shows Mr. Kevoy Burton, the High Commissioner of Barbados to Ghana, and the Honorary Consul of Jamaica to Accra, Ghana, Okatakyie Boakye Danquah Ababio.

The Consulate wishes to clarify that the Honorary Consul, did not participate in the referenced activity. The photograph in question was taken during the Ghana Caribbean Association’s annual event in the first quarter of 2025 and is not connected to the activity mentioned in the article.
